African Management Services Company (AMSCO) is a special purpose vehicle created by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with IFC as the executing agency.

We currently have a client in the agro processing sector who seeks to fill the position of a Managing Director.
The company was incorporated in 1982 to undertake the production and processing of crude vegetable oils general farming and exporting wildlife.
It has four existing expellers with an annual crushing capacity of 14,400 metric tonnes and a vegetable oil batch refinery plant to increase value addition to its product line.
Currently the focus is on the production of crude vegetable oils, oil cakes and refined cooking oils. the company is aiming at restructuring and recapitalizing its plan to position themselves well in the competitive market. The ideal candidate when selected will be reporting to all senior management and the board having two workers reporting to him/her. he/she will restructure management and entire operations of the company as aligned in the objectives. he will also assist in capital raising and improve financial performance.
The candidate will also expand capacity, promote corporate goals and mission as well as implement best practice, corporate governance, corporate social responsibilities and other social standards.
The incumbent must hold an MBA or its equivalent in any management related field. in addition, a minimum of 5years experience in vegetable oils processing will be required together with skills in finance and engineering.
