We currently have a client in the Agri-Business and Agro Processing sector who seeks to fill the position of Marketing Manager.
The company's primary activities are plantain and banana farming as a source of raw material to feed its processing industry. currently it is expanding its production facility to improve management and marketing services and also to undertake an intensive international export for its ready to eat plantain chips.
The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be charged to set up a five year product marketing team for the project. Secure 80%-90% export contract for the 12tons per day chips production capacity for the US and European markets.
Assist the company to set up national and ECOWAS regional market network for the sale of the product. Develop competitive strategies for selling the products. Develop raw material supply contract with the plantain farmers.
The incumbent should hold an MBA in Marketing and Management. He/she should have experience in similar positions with good knowledge of Food quality standards, Packaging, Distribution network chains development and business communication. Management skills and expertise is greatly required. Being able to adapt to changing environments will be required.
