A highly successful consulting company that specialises in data solutions within the retail sector requires an additional resource to work onsite at one of the largest retailers in the Western Cape. The role has come about due to growth in the business. This role is a multi faceted role that requires someone with strong Project Management skills coupled with strong technical skill (SQL and web interfaces) and solid commercial skills.

The Project Manager will be based onsite at the retailer, managing the roll out of a 6 - 12 month project plan. This is ideally a contract role but applicants preferring a permanent position will also be considered.

Minimum requirements:

• IT Degree /Diploma
• Strong SQL skills
• Exposure to C# advantageous
• MS Visio
• SAP advantageous but not a necessity
• Understanding of SDLC
• Minimum 5 years within a technical Project Management role
• Team player
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

• Retail experience advantageous

Key responsibilities:

• Project manage the roll out of the project plan at the client
• Manage 4 technical business analysts working onsite at the client
• Manage the clients expectation in a professional manner
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, project timeframes
• Undertake to manage the relationship with key stakeholders
• Be the key point of reference for the client, in terms of resolving any issues relating to the project
• Analyse and document requirements, work flow, time frames, project plans
• Manage commercials relating to projects

• Identify future business opportunities at the client and manage the process taking project plans forwards
