A cellular solutions provider and a full member of WASPA, is looking to expand its development team. The successful candidate will be working as part of a highly skilled dynamic team that build and support applications in a technically exciting and challenging industry. The candidate will be expected to design, develop, test, document and support applications written in C++ running on Linux.Skills
Strong OO development skills using C++ with templates and STL.
Development for Linux (Red Hat advantageous)
Development of multithreaded, server side applications
Inter-process communications using sockets (TCP/IP & unix sockets)
SQL and relational database design (MySQL advantageous)
Following skills are a bonus, not a requirement:
Boost and ACE libraries
Design patterns
Communications protocols
Test driven development (TDD)
Linux command line scripting (bash)
Experience
3+ years development experience
Exposure to the full software life cycle
Experience developing high performance, scalable, reliable applications
Use of revision control and bug tracking systems
Proven experience meeting deadlines and delivering quality code
Management or team leading skill is not a requirement

Candidate has a strong ethos of writing high quality applications
