To ensure the engineering department provides the site team with correct and timely information maintaining a zero defect in the process

Liaise and integrate with and provide information for other disciplines
Key Responsibilities:
Implement engineering systems, documentation and controls by compliance with Health & Safety legislation, Company and industry standards, including Temporary Works
Apply engineering principles in the preparation of calculations/drawings/sketches and resolution of engineering challenges within specific knowledge areas
Check engineering drawings/ specifications, identify and resolve design conflicts
To produce Method Statements, ITP's and Risk Assessments in accordance with ANLOR quality systems as and when required.
Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction
Early identification and resolution of non conformance
Effective communication of technical issues between project management, and other functions/support services within the project team
Technical input when required into services, products and subcontractors
Effective supervision and guidance to less experienced engineering staff
Coordination as required by management
Key Skills:
Proven technical knowledge of materials and methods
Good understanding of commercial consequences of engineering decisions taken
Team player
Effective communication skills both orally and written
Good understanding/application of H&S legislation
Competent in use of IT eng. Software packages
Extensive knowledge and understanding of technical and engineering drawings and specifications and able to instruct/advise others on the same
Experience:
6 - 8 years of experience in construction industry out of which the last 3 years should have functioned in the similar capacity of a medium/large construction industry.
Qualification:
Diploma/Graduate in Engineering (Civil)
