Permanent junior level position in the Building & Construction sector at Construction Firm in South Africa
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with pricing tenders of various values from initial enquiry to submission of Tender together. (This must include measurement, documentation review, pricing, finalization and preparation of tender documents.
Have a basic understanding of the relevant contract terms and conditions
Tender bulletins will need to be checked, generate leads and this will be transferred to Directors to handle meetings
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management / quantity surveying / engineering or estimating would be an advantage.
Previous experience in a construction company / construction industry would be beneficial
Computer literate in Construction Computer Software (advantage), as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Reading of all Construction Magazines
Technical jargon to be handled by our Directors too
Must have own vehicle
