Job Description - Senior Engineer: Transportation

R600, 000 - R800, 000 CTC (Negotiable) including benefits. International Engineering Consultancy Firm based in Bloemfontein in the Transport Sector as soon as possible

Main responsibilities

  • Development and management of the Bloemfontein Transport Business Unit
  • Business development and client liaison
  • Mentoring and capacity building of staff in the Bloemfontein Transport Business Unit
  • Project management of Transport projects & Adherence to quality procedures
  • Road planning, design and tender documentation
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the Transport field

 

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience

  • BSc or B.Eng Civil Engineering Degree
  • Professional Registration with ECSA is essential
  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience in the Transportation field, specifically in the planning, design and supervision of National, Provincial and Municipal Roads
  • Proven track record in managing projects and /or a transport business unit
  • Tender preparation and contract administration experience would be advantageous
